Ground covers, also known as ‘Weed Barriers’, can be a very valuable asset when it comes to gardening and cultivating. They are best known for minimizing the spread of weeds when growing plants and can therefore be seen in many different locations. By absorbing sunlight, the ground covers reduce photosynthesis and hereby inhibit the growth of weeds. In addition, this prevents the expansion of fungal disease that may occur in greenhouses.
The usage of ground covers mainly occurs in landscaping, hobby gardens, greenhouses and animal husbandry. As already mentioned, weed barriers can be seen in many different locations, such as flower beds, footpaths and driveways. Ground covers are very popular and effective weed suppressants and can therefore be used by large cultivators and small households.
Our ground covers are UV added and can be produced in the standard black colour or in any other desired colour. In addition, the covers range from 30cm to 375cm wide.
